In a word, there is not much more difference between Chakma Black Day and Victory Day in Bangladesh. The consequence of 1947 and 1971 is almost the same. But the differences only time and name of the war.
In 1947 was World War and 1971 was against the brutality of Pakistan. But the Chakma People in the Chittagong Hill Tracts worked hard to be independent in 1947 and 1971.
Unfortunately, the people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts are cheated by India and Bangladesh which is not acceptable.
As a result, both days should be Chakma Black Day because no victory brought freedom for the Chakma People. So, neither the victory day of India nor the Victory day in Bangladesh matters to the Chakma People.
The 16 December the Victory Day of Bangladesh doesn’t bring victory for the past generation nor will bring the next generation at all.
