Halloween in Tokyo was not famous a few years ago. However, recently, it seems that it’s getting more popular compared to the previous years.
Most shops and supermarkets in Tokyo decorate gates with Halloween decorations. Some of the shops even put lovely Halloween decorations inside the shops.
Of course, some famous tourist spots in Tokyo celebrate Halloween in Tokyo. Every year, these spots hold Halloween Festivals.
One of these spots is Tokyo Skytree. However, we can say it’s only for kids.
On the other hand, Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome, located in Yumenoshima Park, celebrates Halloween every year. The dome place about 50 giant pumpkins in front of the dome’s field, where kids can play rolling the pumpkins.
Unofficially, young people gather together in Shibuya Scramble Crossing to enjoy Halloween in Tokyo.
But, this year, in 2022, many places are arranging Halloween Parades in Tokyo, which proves that Halloween is getting more popular in Tokyo.
