I Work in Japan, But I Still Feel Behind

A foreign worker sitting alone in a small room in Japan at night, looking at his phone with a thoughtful expression, representing responsibility and financial struggle.

I came to Japan with a clear purpose.

To work.
To earn.
To take care of my family.

This is not pressure.

This is my responsibility.

Every month, I receive my salary.

And every month, I send a part of it home.

Because I know they depend on me.

And I want to support them.

But life here is not simple.

Expenses are high.

Rent takes a big part.
Food keeps increasing.
Daily costs never stop.

At the end of the month…

There is not much left.

That’s when I understood something.

Working alone is not enough.

So I started thinking differently.

Not just about working more hours.

But about using my time better.

After work, instead of only resting…

I began spending some time online.

Learning.

Trying.

Understanding how things work.

I am not earning a lot yet.

But I have some extra money for myself.

And that small amount matters.

Because it gives me balance.

I can still support my family.

But I can also take care of myself.

Now I see things differently.

This journey is not only about earning.

It is about building something.

Step by step.

Because responsibility is important.

But so is your own future.
